Courage Leads to Consistency
Jan 23, 2024Never in a million years would I have thought I’d ever been writing this blogpost “Courage Leads to Consistency”. Why? Because I just recorded live on video that I, yes me, can actually plan ahead. Of course, there’s a motivation for doing so, but more importantly I have actual proof that I am capable of not only being consistent, but also being able to plan ahead.
Note: for those who do not know me, I actually do a lot of things last minute, something to do with being creative.
What has changed in the last year?
Truth be told, I have been more consistent for a longer period of time now, at least since March. For almost a year now I have been doing weekly group coaching calls and yes, I do prepare for them whenever I can, since I always start with training.
Ever since I went to the Coaching Summit in Austin, led by Brendon Burchard I have been taking things to the next level. It started with becoming a CHPC (a certified high performance coach), trained by brendon and his top coaches and this was the one thing I needed to really show up and do it. Followed by some intense coaching from another experienced CHPC, I have been challenged non-stop to change things for the better.
Step by step
People who know me, especially those who have been coached by me, know that I always tell them “One step at a time”. It’s about getting started and from there on moving forward. Of course we get stuck at times, but the goal is to figure out why and how we can get back up from there.
The same thing applies to me and is exactly what I have done. Let’s take a closer look at what has changed for the better, I am…
- Going live every week on Tuesday night (my time) for my weekly group coaching;
- Being consistent with challenges (every last weekend of the month);
- Posting daily on Instagram;
- Streaming “Friday Night Live with Lady Lexy” (weekly on Fridays)
- Posting long form content (10 minute +) on YouTube several times a week.
- Who would have thought this would be possible??? -
Not me…
Some final encouragement
- Step by step is all it takes (yes, one step at a time);
- Mixed with some courage, one can do wonders;
- IF I can do it, you can do it too (after all I traveled the US for 6 weeks on my own with two crutches and two backpacks);
- When you talk to others, courage will come to the surface. You don’t want to let them down and you don’t want to let yourself down either.
- You are Worth it;
- Show Yourself You CAN DO IT!
